Hello everyone, I didn’t get a chance to write this week as I was traveling. It was driving me slightly crazy that I had nothing to offer readers this morning until I came across this remarkably awesome song, Evo Devo, which explains evolutionary biology so well that I am ashamed to even try my hand at future songs. Seriously, this is awesome and sung to the tune of Grammy-nominated (and should have won) song Despacito. If you don’t know the song Despacito, you have apparently been living under a rock this last year. And don’t let Justin Bieber scare you away.
Enjoy and I’ll be back with my own stuff soon.
Lisa, may your brain go on pause more often… this is a treasure! The combination of a capaella music, already fabulous, with science and wit… thank you thank you thank you! Molly C
Admittedly, I was under a rock! Love you for helping me get out from under there.
Magical. How do you link or even find these synapses????
I saw it from someone else’s post and I had seen another of his pieces a few months back. Dude is a genius! L
Two of my favorite things, music and science, combined in perfect harmony. GENIUS. Thanks for sharing, Lisa!
We need to commission similar pieces for vaccines and climate change.
That would be awesome. Check out his site – lots of good other parody songs
Great combination. A remarkable convergence of talents.
Acapella fans check out the youtube of Pentatonix doing “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”. I used this video to congratulate a student on her many varied and even surprising contributions to class.
Pure genius and joy! This could do for science what Hamilton has done for American history – ha! I’ll ask my former vaccine colleagues to reproduce.
